November 27, 2009 Something Blue by Emily Giffin
I spent the first 200 pages of this book, simply hating the main character. You figure that she would come off bad in the first book since she was engaged to the guy the main character from that book was in love with. But Darcy is SO self-unaware for most of this book that it's laughable and rather painful. I found myself hoping that we'd get an update on Rachel and Dex instead of more blithering about how Darcy had been wronged and how she's better than everyone else.
The last third of the book is actually enjoyable, if predictable. Some things seem to happen a little too easily, but it's a book, so I'll forgive. I've got two more by this author on deck and I'm looking forward to them.
